Right from the start I enjoyed writing music for the instruments I learned as a child. So I started composing early. At that time I was writing for my friends.
Even today, my music is always created with a fixed point of reference, namely a specific ensemble, students or pupils of my colleagues. This also applies to my music, which was published by Musikverlag Bruno Uetz.
My music is stylistically diverse, but often contains elements of jazz. Since I play various wind instruments myself, many of my compositions are pieces for different kinds of wind ensembles or symphonic wind orchestras, but not only.
Among my compositions there is concert music for the professional player as well as music for students, which is suitable for the competition "Jugend Musiziert", for example.

This is me
I am a composer, conductor and music teacher. My main instruments are trumpet and piano.
I am a freelance composer and work for various ensembles. My music for students is published by Musikverlag Bruno Uetz.
I work as a music teacher at the Robert Schumann University. There I make various offers in the field of music theory and composition, I am involved in the training of future media composers and work closely together with the training music corps of the German Armed Forces in Hilden.
At the same time I work at the music school of the city of Langenfeld, where I head the wind instruments department and conduct the wind orchestra.
So my pedagogical spectrum is very broad, which I enjoy a lot!
